Good morning.
I just wanted wish everyone a happy new year. My workout today was not much. I am going to come back later and do more. I am on egg white number 4. and by egg white I mean donut. live it up, diet starts tomorrow!

I got back in the gym last night and finished what I didn’t do yesterday morning. I worked up to a 1 rep max effort, ass-to-grass squat with 2 sets at 415. I also did 4 reps loading the stone, 3 sets of power cleans, 1×20 standing military press, 545 on deadlift, bar front raises, lateral raises, and single leg box squats for a set.
The fun part about last night is that Trevor and I did the most random stuff after the workout. We did fat bar tug of war with both arms pulling back and forth and then single arm. This really lit up the upper back and shoulders for me. After that we did partner “log” press with a heavy bag. Both facing each other with a heavy bag on my right, his left shoulder and pressing up and over to the opposite side for 3 minutes. Hard!
We then squatted for 3 minutes straight so our palms hit the floor each time. I ended up with 142 squats. After that, we did Partner fireman carries for a set, partner cradle carries, and true fireman carries with the partner across the upper back.
An hour later and I still almost threw up.
This morning I did pushups, situps, pullups, and dips.
Sets were like this:
6×30
6×35
3×10
3×20
I finished in 15:29
Client 1
Tier 1 week 2
Squat
3 sets x 1 rep @45%
3 sets x 1 rep @50%
3 sets x 1 rep @55%
3 sets x 1 rep @60%
5 sets x 3 reps @70% light reverse band
I will start posting the clients logs that give me the ok to.
The workout today was mediocre at best. Mediocre because I destroyed my shoulders, traps, and arms, but did not squat. I wussed out and will have to hit them later today. I’ve been really thinking about what a friend said last night though, and why I don’t focus on area’s that I need to improve most on when it comes to bodybuilding. I really need to start hitting more shoulders and arms if I am going to compete in bodybuilding, but today was bad because I sacrificed squats. Not good.

Good morning. I am getting all geared up for my Bodybuilding diet starting in January. With new products under the belt, I am hoping for dramatic results.
The definition of insanity: Doing the same thing repeatedly expecting a different result.
Well, that was me the last 4 years of bodybuilding. Now, it is time to change supplements and try something new!
I am going with Advocare and this 12 week challenge. I am buying all my supplements from here at a 20% discount because I signed up as a distributor. There is no obligation to buy anything and you get free samples of stuff when you sign up. Nice. https://www.advocare.com/09113194/Products/default.aspx
So I already filled all this out in another email that my awesome computer decided to clear for no reason, but this is what I am getting.
2 – MNS max 3
1 thermo plus
1 catalyst
1 spark Can
2 meal replacement boxes
This will be January’s meals. The cost is $218 with the 20% off, $273 without.
That is less than $8 per day, and if you don’t use the thermo plus and spark or meal replacements every day, it will last longer. But I am going to tell you what I am going to do: The staple of my diet will be the MNS Max 3 packs. they are awesome! Fish oils, probiotics, energy, appetite suppressants, and a multivitamin in individualized pill packs instead of my normal 6 bottles of pills that usually just sit there!
My diet will be strict and I will detail that more later. but right now, I need to order these supplements so I am ready to rock come January 1!
The price is darn close to what I spent last year in similar supplements:
2 box Myoplex Lite bars
1 fish oil
1 digestive enzymes
1 multi vitamin
2 5lb cans Pure whey
60 packs: Ultra Met meal replacements
Total price: $212
This would last me about one month as well. The problem with having all that protein at my disposal is I would eat it because dieting was even easier then. This time around, I am forcing myself to prepare more and eat more solid foods instead of taking the easy way out and drinking my meals. Remember Insanity – I have done the second supplement plan for 4 years. Now it is time for a greater challenge and different supplements. I originally was worried I was spending more, but then realized it is the same, I just can’t be as lazy!
Training was good this morning:
Bench 5×5
Bent over row
incline Bench 3×10
rev. flyes 3×10
JM Press 3×25
Tier 1 Week 3
2-board bench
3 sets x 3 reps @ 375 with light reverse band (75%) RPE 8
I have a couple clients running the Tier program that I put together and they are making amazing strength gains right now. We are going to run it through March and then I will post the results it yielded from beginning to end. I’ll give the theory behind it and also an easy spread sheet to follow.
I hope everybody had a great Christmas.
” Leaders think and talk about the solutions. Followers think and talk about the problems.”
I finished my workout this morning and am enjoying some cookies like i have all week. The quote for today means to start thinking about your goals for next year. Enjoy the moment with family and friends, but the New Year is upon us as well. The weight literally falls on your shoulders for losing weight or meeting your goals.
Merry Christmas to all, and to all a Good Morning:)
Training:
Military press
10 min of triceps
Wednesday is a day I take off from lifting usually. Today, I am going to try and get a workout in later in the day because of Christmas on Friday. Planning ahead to get your workouts in is key, because this week there is not a donut in sight that won’t be eaten, or cookies that won’t be scarfed:)
If you eat like poop and don’t work out, good luck to you, it is probably your genetics that are keeping you from your goals. But if you are like me, let’s enjoy the heck out of the food, wine and desserts this Christmas and get back on track after the holiday season for another great year of looking ripped!

We had a great showing for boot camp yesterday with 14 people. It was an awesome atmosphere with everyone working hard.
There is another free one tomorrow night at 7pm.
Today’s raining was tough. My legs were still cashed from last week Thursday. I did some singles and then GHR. Kirk is making me do a ladder agility drill right now with his client. This should be fun.
Make it a great day!
Tomorrow Night. Wisconsin Barbell… Be there 7pm!
